Triple Duty Valve Manufacturer in Europe
Triple Duty Valve Manufacturer in Europe, designs and manufactures triple duty valve for installation on pump discharge lines, combining non-slam check, throttling/balancing, and shutoff functions in a single body. This reduces the number of fittings required at the pump connection while providing a single point for flow control, backflow prevention, and isolation.
What is a Triple Duty Valve?
Triple Duty Valve is a valve consisting of a single body mounted on the discharge line of a pump. This valve is designed to incorporate all the three operations into one. The three operations include a non-slam check valve, which helps prevent any backward flow of the fluid once the pump is turned off, a throttling/balance valve, which controls the flow rate and a shutoff valve, which isolates the pump during its servicing.
Working Principle:
The valve combines three internal elements on a common shaft or disc assembly, a spring loaded disc that closes automatically on flow reversal to stop backflow, a throttling plate or disc position that sets flow resistance for system balancing, and a full close position that isolates the line for pump servicing. A memory stop indicator marks the balanced position so the valve can be closed for maintenance and reopened to the same setting without rebalancing the system.

Features & Advantages:
- Combines check, balancing, and shutoff duty in one body, reducing pipe run length at the pump connection
- Non slam disc closure reduces water hammer on pump shutdown
- Memory stop indicator allows the valve to return to its set balancing position after isolation
- Integrated test ports remove the need for separate flow metering fittings
- Compact face to face dimension compared with fitting three separate valves in line
- Position indicator gives a visual reference for the current disc setting
- Suited to both vertical and horizontal pump discharge orientations
- Reduced installation and gasket points compared to a check valve, balancing valve, and gate valve installed separately
Applications of Triple Duty Valve:
- Pump discharge lines in water circulation systems
- Cooling tower circuits
- Chilled and hot water distribution networks
- District energy and heating networks
- Industrial process water systems
- Fire pump test lines
- Booster pump stations
- Building and campus level water circulation loops
