Bi-Directional Knife Gate Valve Manufacturer in Europe – Valvesonly Europe (Germany)
Valvesonly Europe is a leading Bi-Directional Knife Gate Valve Manufacturer in Germany, producing high-performance isolation valves for slurry, wastewater, pulp, and solids-laden service. Our valves are engineered for full shut-off in both flow directions, ensuring sealing integrity even under fluctuating pressures. Built in Germany to MSS-SP-81, EN 593, and PED 2014/68/EU, each valve is 100% tested to EN 12266-1 and supplied with 3.1/3.2 certification and full NDE traceability.
Function & Working
A bi-directional knife gate valve uses a machined gate sliding between two resilient or metal seat rings, sealing against both upstream and downstream pressures. This design eliminates the need for valve orientation and allows reliable operation in pipelines with reverse flow or variable flow conditions. The knife-edged gate cuts through solids and prevents clogging, making it suitable for abrasive and high-solid media.
Advantages
- True Bi-Directional Shut-off: Maintains seal integrity in both flow directions.
- Solids Handling Capability: Self-cleaning gate edge prevents accumulation of debris.
- Replaceable Seat Rings: Easy maintenance and extended service life.
- Surface Finish ≤ Ra 0.8 μm: Reduces wear and sealing friction.
- Wide Pressure Range: Designed for PN10–PN40; higher classes available on request.
Types Offered
- Wafer Bi-Directional Knife Gate Valve
- Lugged Bi-Directional Knife Gate Valve
- Flanged Bi-Directional Knife Gate Valve
- High-Pressure Slurry Bi-Directional Knife Gate Valve
