Valvesonly Europe builds double-offset (high-performance) butterfly valves to API 609 / EN 593 / PED for higher pressures/temperatures than concentric designs. 

Function & Working 

The shaft is offset from the seat centerline, so the disc cams into the seat on closing—reducing rubbing, torque, and wear while improving tightness and cycle life. 

Advantages
