Plunger Valve Manufacturer in Europe – Valvesonly Europe (Germany)
Valvesonly Europe manufactures plunger valves (flow control valves) in Germany, designed for precise regulation of flow and pressure in pipelines. Our plunger valves provide reliable throttling and isolation performance in waterworks, hydroelectric plants, power stations, desalination units, and process industries. Built to EN, DIN, and ISO standards, our valves ensure smooth operation, minimal cavitation, and long service life.
Function & Working
Plunger valves regulate flow by means of a cylindrical piston (plunger) moving axially inside a sleeve. This allows accurate control of velocity and pressure drop across the valve, avoiding turbulence and cavitation. Flow is throttled evenly around the circumference, ensuring stable hydraulic performance even at partial openings.
Design variations include:
-
Cavitation-optimized plunger design with anti-vibration guides
-
Flow straighteners to stabilize outlet velocity profiles
-
Manual, electric, or pneumatic actuation for control flexibility
Advantages
-
Linear throttling action with precise flow control
-
Designed to minimize cavitation and vibration at high pressure drops
-
Low-maintenance construction with replaceable sleeve and plunger guides
-
Suitable for both on/off isolation and modulating duties
-
Available with hydraulic dampers for surge control in water distribution networks
-
Engineered in Germany with full PED/CE conformity
