Wafer Butterfly Valve Manufacturer in Italy – Valvesonly Europe

Valvesonly Europe is a Wafer Butterfly Valve Manufacturer in Italy, offering durable and precision-engineered valves for water distribution, HVAC, fire protection, oil and gas, chemical, and power plant applications. Manufactured in Italy in compliance with EN 593, API 609, and ASME B16.34, our wafer butterfly valves are certified under PED 2014/68/EU. They provide tight shut-off, low operating torque, and compact installation between standard flanges, making them ideal for both industrial and utility service.

Function & Working

A wafer butterfly valve regulates or isolates flow through the rotation of a disc mounted on a central shaft. The disc turns 90° from fully open to fully closed position. When open, it allows near-full-bore flow with minimal pressure loss; when closed, it seals tightly against the resilient or metal seat. The wafer body fits between flanges and is centered with bolts, offering a space-saving solution for pipelines where compactness is essential. Designs are available in concentric, double eccentric, and triple eccentric configurations to meet different process conditions.
