WHAT IS STAINLESS STEEL?

Stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant alloy of iron, chromium and, in some cases, nickel and other metals. It is a general term for a group of corrosion-resistant alloy steels with a chromium in it. All stainless steels have a strong corrosion resistance. The naturally occurring chromium-rich oxide film developed on the steel’s surface provides this resistance to assault. This invisible, inert layer is strongly adhered to the metal and exceptionally protective in a wide range of corrosive environments, despite its thinness. In the presence of oxygen, the film self-heals quickly, and damage caused by abrasion, cutting, or machining is swiftly repaired.

WHAT IS A WAFER CHECK VALVE?
Wafer check valves have a solid body with a very thin “wafer” shape, making them suited for applications where short takeout lengths are required. Wafer check valves are employed in applications where ensuring fluid flow in just one direction is critical.
A swinging disc allows or blocks flow in wafer check valves. Because of their design, they can be installed in extremely tight areas where a flanged check valve would be ineffective. Wafer check valves feature moulded bodies that surround the opening of the disc.

Wafer check valves, on the other hand, have a moulded body that allows the disc to fully open, enabling full flow. As you may expect, if your application requires complete flow, this is critical. As a result, we often recommend wafer check valves for applications where flow isn’t a concern and swing check valves for instances where a full port valve is necessary.

TYPES
• Stainless steel wafer check valve
• Single Plate wafer check Valve
• Dual plate wafer check valve

Applications of Stainless Steel Check Valve
Petroleum Refineries, Thermal Power Plants, Fertilizer Plants, Agro Chemicals Plants, Steel Plants, Process/Pressure Control, Water/Waste Management, Paper Industries, Gas Stations & System, Cement Industries, Textile Sectors, Petro-chemical Industries, Cement Industries, and FMCG Industries.

Advantages of stainless steel Check Valve:
• To prevent the reverse flow of gas, fluid, and air just in of break down.
• It Maintains Pressure
• It functions as a backup system
• It is often used horizontally also vertically
